DevPrabha Foundation works in the fields of Health , Education, Creating opportunities for Livelihood and bringing Prosperity to society.
Healthcare
We arrange health camps with the help of local health centers to provide basic health services and facilities to poor people. To improve the health conditions of people, the trust organizes medical camps for people, especially for the poor and underprivileged groups. In pursuit of its “Health for all” objectives, DevPrabha Foundation has started the construction of a Multispecialty Hospital at Sugauli, East Champaran Bihar (India) named DevPrabaha Memorial Hospital.
Education & Skilling
Education plays an important role in the growth and development of people. It is central to sustainable growth; it is a potent driver of development and one of the powerful instruments for overcoming poverty and bringing prosperity. Education & skilling not only empower people to be more productive, to make a better living, and better quality of life, but also adds to the country’s overall economic growth.
DPF envisions providing educational training to the people, especially women for earning extra income and livelihood. To promote education among the people of poor and underprivileged society, DPF is planning to open educational institutions in the far-flung areas of the country. To create avenues of livelihood, DPF
envisions starting several vocational and training centers where people can enhance their soft skills, which shall help them for employability and entrepreneurship.
Livelihood & Entrepreneurship
Livelihood promotion is one of the biggest jobs of our organization in rural areas of Champaran , Bihar to employ people. People here have limited sources of income for their livelihood as they are mainly dependent on agriculture; that’s why they can’t fulfill their needs. We try to educate and motivate them to choose different options apart from agriculture. Our organization has arranged a livelihood development program where we gave training to more than 100 groups in different trades such as dairy, goats, fishery, paper, jam, jelly, and many more. Through Dev Prabha Foundation, we embark to enable youth employability through education, skill development, and social enterprises.
Community Development
Backward community is the most neglected community that needs extra care and empowerment to come forward in society. The welfare of backward classes has been allotted to the activity list of our organization. Hence, the responsibility regarding the welfare and development of the backward classes through various sectoral programs and projects rests with us. We are trying to provide them knowledge about their rights and responsibilities towards society.
Sustainable Energy
Sustainable energy is a kind of energy produced and used to “meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.” The term “sustainable energy” is generally known as “renewable energy”. Global Warming has become a serious matter which involved the serious issue of keeping the Environment Green and healthy as it was earlier. With our continuous use of Energy like Coal, Wood we are hampering the treasure of nature which will affect our future generation. That’s why we must try to reuse some energies which are earlier known as wasted. These wasted energies are converted into renewable energies which can make up the treasure of nature again.
Environment Awareness
The environment is such a place where both human beings and animals live peacefully. So, conserving our environment is important. From our organization, we aware people to know the value and significance of the environment in our lives. We encourage them to conserve and protect our forests, animals as they are vital parts of our environment. We care for our environment. We want to prevent air, soil, water, and noise pollution. We organize awareness camps regarding the environment. We want to save, develop, grow, and protect trees, forests, wildlife, biodiversity, and an eco-friendly environment. We make people aware and inspire them to stop using chemical fertilizer and use vermicompost in agriculture for the development of soil fertility.
Rural Development
The rural areas are facing some serious issues and DevPrabha Foundation is focused to solve those issues. We surveyed the areas and found that people are illiterate, unaware of the basic facilities of health, education, and human rights. Problems like poor sanitation, poor hygiene, dirty water, and poor health are seen everywhere. We arrange health camps where people get free health checkups, distribute blankets, arrange educational camps, and empower women and youth to choose other career options. We also provide information about scientific agriculture and husbandry helping people in developing their agricultural and economic status.
