About Us

DevPrabha Foundation

DevPrabha Foundation ® has started its journey in 2010 with the objective of “Bringing change in the lives of People” through the way of individual and social development, by working in the core fields of Health, Education, Livelihood and Prosperity (HELP). Founders of the DevPrabha Foundation are of a strong opinion that human beings are the Social Cells of society and country at large. We believe that the development of society and the country is only possible when human beings are developed. And when human beings are developed to their full potentials, everything, however big or small, falls within their limit.

DevPrabha Foundation aims to transform the lives of people by improving their Health index, imparting Education (Academic and Professional) to encourage both entrepreneurship and employment, Creating avenues of Livelihood available to them, and bringing Prosperity in their lives.

DevPrabha Foundation is registered with the Sub-Registrar under the Registration Act 60 and the type of NGO is Trust (Non-Government) and the Registration Number is 2034/2017. The city and state of registration are Sugauli and Bihar. Our Unique Id of VO/NGO is BR/2018/0207803. The date of registration is 04/03/2017. We are also registered under section 12AA(1)(b)(i) of the Income Tax Act, 1961 bearing Registration No.— CIT/FBD/Tech/12A/2014-15/1503 dated 02/06/2014. Also Registered under section U/s 80G(5)(vi) of the IT Act, 1961 bearing Registration No.— CIT(E)/Pat/12AA/04(341)/2018-19/616-20 dated 19/04/2018.

Founders and Partners of Dev Prabha Foundation are of the strong opinion that “Quality Healthcare & Education” are universal rights.

DPF has set its mission to provide every individual access to Healthcare, and Education regardless of gender, race, religion, caste/creed, or political affiliation. In pursuance of our cherished objectives and vision, we embark on missions of:

  • Establish and strengthen Healthcare Institutions, Infrastructures & facilities;
  • Strengthen local ecosystems of Education, Training, Research, Entrepreneurship;
  • Build and develop Entrepreneurial capabilities and Leadership;
  • Build “People Partnership” for creating health & education centers & services for all;
  • MakeChamparan (East & West) Health & Education hub in region;
  • Promote preventive healthcare measures among people to lead healthy lives;
  • Empower Woman with an entrepreneurship mindset;
  • Arrange Health camps and sanitation awareness drive in rural areas;
  • Open schools and tutorials for children of poor and underprivileged;
  • Formation of FPO, SHG in villages and Panchayats;
  • Making Co-operatives of farmers for encouraging resources optimization;
  • Partnership with other NGOs, private organizations, world institutions, government bodies and Donors for support and investment in Health, Education, and Livelihood creation.

Our Objective

Founders of the Dev Prabha Foundation are of the strong opinion that “Health and Education are instruments through which Growth and Development can be brought in the lives of people.”

Health and Education have always played an important role in the socio-economic development of communities, societies, regions, and countries; and with the rise of the Global Knowledge Economy, its importance has increased significantly.

Dev Prabha Foundation will work in the areas of Health, Education, Livelihood, and Prosperity to empower & transform the lives of people.

Health Objectives

DPF team act on the belief that the best way to guarantee high quality and dignified healthcare is to rely upon and invest in local health systems.

In pursuance of “Health for All”, our objectives are:

  • Build and strengthen healthcare’s infrastructures;
  • Promote preventive healthcare measures;
  • Qualitative & affordable healthcare’s services locally available;
  • Reduce the cost of Curative healthcare’s services;
  • Research & Develop Medical technologies;
  • Medical & Health camp for the poor and weaker sections people;
  • Set-up Medical & Health Educational Institutions & Skilling Centers. 

Educational Objectives

  • Create Education Awareness among the children of poor and downtrodden;
  • Set-up Educational & Teaching centers in the rural, and economically poor areas;
  • Impart free education to poor children;
  • Set-up Vocational and Skilling Centers;
  • Build-up Technical and Professional Educational Institutions;
  • Promote Education among Girls and Women.

Livelihood Objectives

We at Dev Prabha Foundation are focused and playing a game changer role in the Livelihood-space to provide opportunities for the working poor people, especially women, (in various occupations) to increase their income-generating capabilities. We are also training farmers to enhance their income by changing their crop cycles, hybrid seeds, adopting organic farming, Dairy, Poultry & cattle breeding, etc.

  • Create avenues for sustainable Livelihood in rural & semi-urban areas;
  • Skilling and Training people to strengthen employment opportunities;
  • Create sustainable agriculture-based livelihood opportunities;
  • Improve people skills in agriculture & food processing technology enhance farm-based income; Incubator Entrepreneurship Capabilities among women and young probationers.
